Tree Care
We want to ensure that you get the best out of your tree!
So here are some steps to follow below on how to keep your tree
happy and healthy during the festive season!

Step 1) When you get your Christmas tree home, cut 1-2cm off from the base of the trunk. This will get rid of any dry resin that could stop the tree from absorbing water. Place your tree straight into your tree stand and ensure it is filled above base level with water.
Step 2) Position your Christmas tree in a cool, dry shady area away from any sources of heat and sunlight. This includes TV's, sunlit windows, heaters, air-con vents as this will lead to your tree losing its moisture and drying out.

Step 3) Ensure your tree stand is always 3/4 full with water, above base level. It is recommended to top up your tree stand with water at least every second day, play this by ear and check on your tree daily. They are very thirsty.
It is also ideal to have a spray mist water bottle on standby to refresh your tree in between.
Don’t be afraid to trim off any dry branches or foliage to achieve the most perfect Christmas tree shape.

How long does a real Christmas tree last?
If your tree is cared for correctly and replenished with water regularly, it should last four to six weeks.
